A - E-book stands for 'electronic book'. You don't actually get an electronic book; what you get is a computer file that contains all the information in the book. You can view this file on any computer screen and therefore read the book without actually having the printed book.
Q - What's the point? Why would I want an e-book?
A - It costs less. It doesn't take up any space so you can accumulate a whole library of e-books and carry them around in a laptop computer or other electronic device. Also, you can do word searches of the whole book to find just the information you need.
Q - Can I read it on my handheld electronic device?
A - The Prayer Guide e-book is a PDF file which is the most common reading format in the world. However, you'll want to check to be sure your device reads PDF.

- Follow the instructions to begin the download process.
- You'll probably be given a choice of 'saving' or 'opening' the file. Save it. Then you'll be asked where to save it. Save it to your desktop. This is usually the default location. Doing this will place a little icon on the opening screen of your computer that you can double click to open the book.
- If your computer try's to open the file before asking where to save it; that's OK, just be sure you save it immediately after you open it. You can only download the file once so you must be sure that it gets saved to your computer.
Q - I bought the e-book CD. How do I get it to my computer?
A - Your computer must have a CD player. The e-book CD will come to you by mail. When you receive it, place it in your computer. The computer should recognise the CD and ask what you want to do with it. You can open the file from the CD or copy it to your desktop. I suggest you copy it to your desktop.
A - If you've saved the file to your desktop, there'll be a little icon there that says Prayer Guide E-book. Double click it and the file will be opened by the Adobe Reader. Turn pages by clicking on the directional arrows. There are several ways to change the size of the page so that the text is clear. Look for a magnifying glass icon.
